Position SummaryAs a Forklift Mechanic at CMC, you’ll be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing forklifts—with preference given to candidates experienced with Toyota forklifts—as well as scissor lifts and other material handling equipment. You’ll play a key role in ensuring our equipment is safe, reliable, and operating efficiently to support production and field operations.
Key Responsibilities-
Diagnose and perform repairs on forklifts, scissor lifts, and related material handling equipment

Conduct preventative maintenance and safety inspections on all assigned equipment

Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems

Maintain clear, accurate, and timely maintenance and repair records

Order and track parts as needed

Ensure all equipment meets company safety and operational standards

Keep the maintenance area clean, organized, and safe

Work collaboratively with other departments to minimize downtime and support company goals

Minimum 2 years of experience as a forklift or equipment mechanic (Toyota forklift experience preferred)

Proficiency in diagnosing hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems

Ability to read and interpret repair manuals and schematics

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety

Self-motivated, dependable, and capable of working independently or as part of a team

Must have basic tools and reliable transportation

Technical certifications a plus but not required
