Job Posting for Forklift Driver (1st Shift)

Department: Mixing 

ACCOUNTABILITY:  REPORTS TO MIXING SUPERVISOR

JOB SUMMARY:  Performs daily/routine movement of spice and finished goods material throughout the warehouse and production areas by use of a fork truck.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

•  Able to perform brushout/washes on Buhler
• Able to dump for Buhler silos
• Stage product for the Buhler and Ribbon Blenders
• Manage the Formulation Dump Station Area
• Proper use of scanner gun for each material transaction to ensure accurate inventory.
• Pull product from the WIP area, and transfer to the necessary department.
• Empty trash dumpster when necessary.
• Have knowledge as to the location of raw seasoning as to facilitate easy procurement.
• Check battery level/water levels and overall condition of forklift daily via forklift checklist.
• Fill out move sheet for product moves.
• Adhere to all Workplace Safety and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) expectations.

SKILLS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:  A High School diploma or GED.  Forklift experience is required. In-house forklift certification will be completed prior to using a forklift at Fuchs.

Pay Range - $18.00 – $23.61 (Mid $20.81)
