Sheet Metal Foreman

Systems Contractors - A Fidelity Company is in the market for a hungry, experienced Foreman! 

The primary objective of the foreman is to plan and coordinate all aspects of the job site operations with regards to field labor, materials and equipment. They ensure goals are accomplished, deadlines are met, and enforce a strong focus on quality and safety standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Attend project kickoff meetings with project manager.
• Review project drawings and specifications to gain understanding of project scope.
• Proactively keep track of materials required to install upcoming work. 
• Perform QC and confirm that work is being installed according to drawings (including details) and relevant codes. Ask questions if you are unsure of something.
• Manage equipment such as pneumatic lifts, core drill machines, ladders, etc. Secure this equipment at the end of every workday.
• Manage safety requirements for our crews: safety glasses, work boots, appropriate clothes, reflective vest, harnesses, etc.
• Feel free to offer suggestions to PM on installation methods, ideas for improvement, etc. Your ideas are welcomed and encouraged.
• Keep tools and equipment in working order. Notify the appropriate party of any broken tools. Immediately remove from the job any broken ladders.
