FOOD SERVICES REPRESENTATIVE

 Department: Food Services             Position Type: Part-Time Seasonal

 

Position Summary

Assist in the operation of the Food Services department through the highest level of customer service to guests at all times. This includes taking food and beverage orders and providing the order in an efficient and timely manner.

 

 Specific Accountabilities

         Take food orders from guests and help suggest meal options in a friendly and helpful manner

         Deliver orders to guests once it is prepared

         Adhere and follow Food & Beverage sanitation, health and safety regulations

         Maintain the cleanliness and safety of all areas at all times

         Maintain friendly contact with guests and help resolve guest complaints

         Stock and maintain inventory as required. Ensure the First In First Out procedure is followed

         Inform Supervisor or Manager of any incorrect or damaged product or low inventory levels

         Ensure proper handling and delivery of alcoholic beverages. You must be over 18 years of age to perform this task.

         Provide support in areas where needed

         Putting away products and items in its designated areas when orders come in

         Provide a safe, uncluttered, litter-free environment.

         Help collect trays and run them through the dishwasher. Ensure food trays are stocked • Adhere to the Food Services Code of Conduct

         Perform other responsibilities when required as directed by the Food Services Manager, Assistant Manager and/or Supervisor

         Have an outgoing, friendly personality and show commitment to exceeding guests’ expectation at all times

         Ability to remain composed when faced with unexpected problems and stressful situations

         Ability to work in a fast-paced consumer driven environment and make reasonable decisions quickly

         Remain courteous, patient and tactful when dealing with difficult guests

 

Working Conditions

         Evening, weekend, late-night and holiday shift work

         Ability to work in standing positions for long periods of time

         May lift, carry, push or pull items weighing up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis

 

 Qualifications & Educational Requirements

         Most training is completed on the job however; most should possess an interest in the food and beverage service

         Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks

         Some experience in the Food & Beverage industry

         No educational background required
