Food Service Attendant - HYCA Knightstown

Seeking responsible workers to assist in preparing meals for students Monday – Sunday.

Duties include:

• Cooking by recipes
• Serving meals to students
• Organizing inventory
• Counting inventory
• Preparing and setting up food for service
• Serving food according to strict serving sizes
• Clean up kitchen area after service
• Must become familiar with food allergy list, specific menu changes and offerings
• Must prepare and be ready to serve according to location’s serving schedule

Abilities:

• Knowledge of food service and sanitation
• Must be able to lift 30lbs and stand for extended periods. Must be able to work as a team with other people
• Must enjoy working with children
• Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions
• Work 25 - 30 hours per week

Must be able to pass background check (required due to the security standards of the location). Perfect job for retirees, moms/dads with school age children. Enjoying working in a positive work environment for a great company.

Must work 2 weekends per month.
