Position Overview

As a Food Runner at Party Fowl, you play a vital role in creating an outstanding guest experience. You are the connection between the kitchen and the dining room, ensuring food is delivered quickly, accurately, and with genuine hospitality.

You’ll thrive in this role if you are organized, upbeat, and work well in a fast-paced environment. This is a high-impact position for team players who are passionate about service and committed to excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver food and beverages to guests promptly and accurately, ensuring presentation meets company standards.
• Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and managers to ensure seamless service.
• Set tables with the appropriate silverware, glassware, and napkins as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations and back-of-house runner areas throughout the shift.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and address any immediate needs or issues professionally.
• Restock server stations with dishes, utensils, condiments, and other supplies.
• Clear and reset tables efficiently to support turnover and flow.
• Uphold food safety and sanitation standards in all tasks.
• Communicate guest feedback or concerns to the appropriate team member or manager.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is a plus, but not required.
• Strong communication skills and a guest-first attitude.
• Ability to lift and carry 25+ pounds and remain on your feet for the duration of your shift.
• Positive, proactive mindset and the ability to work well under pressure.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Team player willing to help across departments as necessary.
