Food Rescue Team 2024

Barrie, ON Seasonal

The Food Rescue team provides daily administrative support and frontline service for the No More Starving Artists (NMSA) food rescue program using the shopify e-commerce platform to distribute free groceries and supplies to professional artists and members of the public. Working in small groups, youth in these roles develop confidence and begin to master skills used in their participation in the workplace.

Our waterfall mentorship model means you will help others to learn things you are already an expert in and others will help you learn things you are working on yourself. These roles are progressive over the summer and youth are afforded as much scope and responsibility as they are willing and able to handle. It's a great way to 'level up' in a team setting where your voice and opinions genuinely make a difference daily.

This full-time summer employment contract ranges from 8 -16 weeks, May through September. Post-secondary students are welcomed and encouraged to apply for this position as part of their programs requirements for a co-op or work placement.
