We are looking for an AM Food & Beverage Manager to assist with all aspects of our upscale boutique Restaurant & Bar. You must have an eye for detail, hold a high level of performance standards, be creative, and enjoy working with and leading others.

To be successful in this role, you'll need management skills and experience in both the front and back of the house. You must know how to oversee the dining room, check in with customers, and oversee day to day operations. We expect you to lead by example and uplift our staff during busy moments in our fast-paced environment. Ultimately, you will help ensure our restaurant runs smoothly and customers have a pleasant dining experience.

Responsibilities

  • Daily Front of the House and Back of the House restaurant operations including but not limited to scheduling, ordering, reservations, events, all elements of the bar.
  • Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction. 
  • Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints. 
  • Control cash and other receipts by adhering to cash handling and reconciliation procedures in accordance with restaurant policies and procedures.
  • Be a leader to our employees: continually develop and train team members, appraise staff performance, and ensure that all restaurant policies are followed and completed in a timely manner.
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with sanitation and safety regulations. 
  • Recommend ways to market the restaurant in order to increase revenues.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ year restaurant & banquet management experience or similar. 
  • Extensive food and beverage knowledge, with the ability to remember and recall ingredients and dishes to inform customers and wait staff. 
  • Strong leadership, motivational, and people skills with a proven ability to direct, motivate, coach, and develop others in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Basic food safety understanding and practice. 
  • Flexible and long hours required; required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the business. Availability to work holiday, nights and weekends.
  • Familiarity with restaurant management software, like Micros POS and Open Table.
