A Floor Technician (Floor Tech) at Verde Clean is a crucial role responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and overall condition of various types of flooring surfaces in a professional and efficient manner. Job Summary:

The Floor Technician at Verde Clean is responsible for performing specialized cleaning and maintenance tasks on a variety of flooring types, including carpets, hardwood, tile, and more. The goal is to ensure that all flooring surfaces are kept in pristine condition while adhering to environmentally friendly cleaning practices.


Responsibilities:


  • Floor Cleaning and Maintenance: Perform regular cleaning, maintenance, and restoration tasks on different flooring types, including vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, polishing, and waxing.
  • Product and Equipment Knowledge: Possess a deep understanding of various eco-friendly cleaning products, equipment, and techniques used for different flooring materials.
  • Surface Preparation: Prepare flooring surfaces before cleaning by removing obstacles, moving furniture when necessary, and protecting surrounding areas from cleaning agents.
  • Stain and Spot Removal: Identify and effectively treat stains and spots on carpets and other surfaces using appropriate cleaning agents and techniques.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Properly operate, maintain, and troubleshoot floor cleaning equipment such as carpet cleaners, floor buffers, and steam cleaners.
  • Eco-Friendly Practices: Adhere to Verde Clean's commitment to environmentally friendly cleaning practices by using approved green cleaning products and minimizing waste generation.
  • Documentation: Keep detailed records of tasks performed, materials used, and any issues encountered during cleaning processes.
  • Client Communication: Communicate effectively with clients, addressing their concerns and providing information about the cleaning process, timelines, and expected results.
  • Safety Measures: Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for both employees and clients, including the proper handling and storage of cleaning agents.
  • Quality Control: Perform inspections after completing cleaning tasks to ensure that the quality of work meets Verde Clean's standards.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest trends, technologies, and advancements in floor cleaning techniques and eco-friendly practices.

Qualifications:


  •  High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in floor cleaning and maintenance is preferred.
  • Knowledge of various types of flooring materials and their specific cleaning requirements.
  • Ability to operate and maintain floor cleaning equipment effectively.
  • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Physical stamina
