An Overview:
Perform
general accounting functions and processes for the organization and the people
it supports.
Some duties include:
I) Paying bills and writing spending checks,
II) Ensuring benefits are deposited,
III) Inputting all financial transaction in Quickbooks, balancing checkbooks monthly and providing reports,
IIII) Reviewing and reconciling receipts,
V) Ensuring that assets for each person served remain under $2000. Create and manage STABLE accounts for people supported with funds over limit.
VI) Working closely with Community Support Coordinators on large purchases and maintenance needs on the homes of the people GO supports
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
I) Ability to use Microsoft Excel fluently.
II) Ability to use Quickbooks.
III) Ability to use mathematical computations.
IIII) Ability to balance a checkbook and maintain pristine financial records.
V) Ability to maintain a general ledger, accounts payable and accounts receivable.
VI) Ability to maintain a strong organization of records.
VII) Ability to deal courteously with the public, other staff and people served.
VIII) Ability to understand the mission and purpose of the organization
Credentials & Experience
I) Minimum of Associate’s Degree.
II) At least two years of accounts payable and accounts receivable experience required. An additional year(s) of experience may be substituted for the Associates Degree.
III) Fluency in Excel and Quickbooks required.
III) Experience with payroll preferred.
Pay & Benefits
This is an in office position, requiring you to work Monday-Friday 9AM-3PM
