Whitecap Entertainment is searching for a Grounds Crew that is ready to help us maintain and prepare our picturesque Cavendish Beach Events Grounds that hosts two large scale music festivals during the summer months.
As a member of the Festival Grounds Maintenance Crew, you will
- Assist the Festival Coordinator and Festival Grounds Maintenance Crew Lead with daily operational tasks that include operating equipment and manual labour
- Complete ground preparations including mowing, weed eating, raking, shoveling, hedge trimming and any other tasks required to keep the grounds in top condition
- Post various signage installations, occasionally at heights
- Assist operations team in moving and setting up equipment and activations, not limited to fencing, building materials, and pop up displays
- Complete painting, surface repairs, and maintenance as part of in-season and pre-season prep
- Pressure washing and cleaning of the on-site buildings
- Other tasks as assigned
Who You Are
- Highly organized with an attention to detail
- Previous grounds, lawn care, and maintenance experience an asset
- Able to work independently, as well as in a team setting
- Drivers license is required
- Capable of lifting 50 pounds
- A team player with high level of dedication
- Well-organized and responsible with an aptitude in problem-solving
