Family Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our clinical team in providing high-quality, patient-centered care. Under the supervision of a physician, the FNP will deliver comprehensive medical services, support continuity of care, and promote health and wellness for patients from diverse backgrounds.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform physical examinations and preventive health assessments per physician guidelines.
- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic and laboratory tests to assess patient health needs.
- Record clinical findings and develop individualized care plans, goals, and prognoses.
- Prepare and submit comprehensive care plans for physician review.
- Recommend appropriate treatments, including medications, therapies, or other procedures.
- Counsel patients on health maintenance, disease prevention, and lifestyle improvement.
- Participate in ARMS Quality Improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education & Credentials
- Master’s Degree or higher from an accredited nursing program (Required)
- AANP and/or ANCC certification (Required)
- Alabama NP License (Required)
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner
- Demonstrated experience providing care to diverse or lower-income populations
- Strong clinical judgment and thorough knowledge of current medical standards
- Ability to counsel and guide patients from varied backgrounds
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Commitment to patient-centered care and ARMS team values
