Position Summary: 

We seek a Facilities Management Intern to join our team and assist with various tasks related to facility operations and excel-based data management. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and possess strong analytical skills, with a focus on utilizing Excel for data analysis and reporting. This internship offers valuable hands-on experience in facilities management and provides an opportunity to contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of our facility operations. 


Responsibilities: 

  1. Excel Data Management:  

  • Utilize Microsoft Excel to organize, analyze, and maintain various data related to facility operations. 

  • Develop and maintain spreadsheets for tracking inventory, equipment maintenance schedules, and facility usage. 

  • Generate reports and analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement. 

  1. Facilities Management Support: 

  • Assist in the coordination of facility maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and renovations. 

  • Help maintain accurate records of facility assets, including equipment, furniture, and supplies. 

  • Support facility-related projects by conducting research, gathering data, and providing administrative assistance as needed. 

  1. Communication and Collaboration: 

  • Collaborate with team members and other departments to gather information, resolve issues, and support cross-functional initiatives. 

  • Communicate effectively with vendors, contractors, and service providers to ensure timely and satisfactory completion of tasks. 

  • Assist in the preparation of presentations, reports, and documentation related to facility management activities. 

  1. Continuous Improvement: 

  • Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of facility operations. 

  • Proactively identify opportunities to streamline workflows, optimize resources, and improve data accuracy and integrity. 

  • Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in facilities management and excel-based data analysis. 

 

 

Position Qualifications: 

  • Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program (e.g., Business Administration, Management, Communications, etc.) or recent graduate. 

  • Hungry ambition, positive attitude & team mentality. 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel 

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. 

  • Previous experience or coursework in facilities management, data analysis, or related fields is a plus. 

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
