Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Fabricator to join our team at Pinnacle Plumbing & Heating inc. As a key member of our fabrication team, you will be responsible for reading and interpreting blueprints, selecting materials, and operating fabricating machines to complete projects on time and to the highest quality standards.
Core Responsibilities- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and project specifications to determine the sequence and methods of fabricating, assembling, and installing products, materials, and equipment.
- Select appropriate materials and methods of installation according to project specifications.
- Lay out and mark dimensions and reference lines on material to develop and trace patterns of products or parts or use templates.
- Set up and operate fabricating machines, tools, and equipment as necessary to promptly and accurately complete installation of work.
- Work with project managers and field superintendents to ensure that work is installed according to schedule and that quality is maintained.
- Maintain accurate job logs of construction activities and any other required project documentation.
- Oversee, instruct, and mentor new employees, especially helpers, to help them advance within the company, realize their full potential, and contribute to the success of the project and the company.
- Comply with company policies and procedures, especially safety rules.
- Repair and maintain sheet metal products.
