We are seeking an experienced, friendly, positive, and professional Housekeeping Executive in the coming weeks to join our team at our hotel, the Hilton Garden Inn BHAM SE at Liberty Park.

POSITION: Housekeeping Executive
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage all aspects of the Housekeeping Department of the Hilton Garden Inn BHAM at Liberty Park. This scope of work includes the cleaning and care of the 130 guest rooms, the laundry department, and the public areas of the hotel. Responsible for hiring, training, and managing a strong crew of Room Attendants, Housepersons, and Laundry persons of the hotel. Strongly involved in the inventory and ordering of supplies for the department. All schedules created and maintained for the team.
- Consistently offer professional, friendly, and attentive service to guests; anticipate guests needs and answer questions that the guests may have pertaining to their visit with us; respond promptly as possible; be familiar with property location, property amenities, as well as local attractions and activities to answer guests' inquiries; resolve guests' complaints to ensure guests satisfaction.
- Complete all required brand specific training courses, as directed by Hilton Hotels and RAM Hotels; complete all required health and safety training; adhere to all property specific brand standards.
- Enter, inspect, and complete preparations of guest sleeping rooms for cleaning as per Hilton and RAM standards upon completion by the Room Attendants of the hotel. Such tasks to assure completed include but is not limited to: making beds; dust television, pictures and furniture; sweep and/or vacuum floors and carpets; clean windows and mirrors; clean the bathroom and empty trash containers; clean the closet; clean and disinfect telephones daily; replenish amenities; remove dirty bed linen and replace with clean linen; realign furniture to the floor plan; check and secure room when finished; clean supply cart of garbage, dirty linens, and used cleaning supplies and restock supply cart at the end of shift; update and submit room assignment sheet.
- Work and manage the responsibilities along with the assistance of the hotel’s Housekeeping Inspector/Assistant.
- Meet weekly with the Leadership of the hotel to plan accordingly. Work with the experienced General Manager, AGM, Maintenance and Sales departments as needed to make the Housekeeping department and its tasks simple and functioning.
- Manage the lost and found program of the hotel; take responsibility in submitting any lost or found items in guest rooms immediately to the Executive Housekeeper this includes any item left behind such as a purse, wallet, jewelry, etc.
- Perform other tasks as necessary or required to meet or exceed guest satisfaction.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
- Work-related experience (hospitality or janitorial experience - strongly required)
- Ability and experience of managing a housekeeping team – strongly preferred
- Excellent customer service skills
- Flexible day shift hours between 9am-5pm – 4/5 days per week
INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE:
- Previous experience as a hotel Executive Housekeeper Manager (strongly preferred)
