We are currently seeking a talented and enthusiastic Rental Lead to join our team and play a key role in setting the stage for unforgettable events.

  • Hands-on experience showing your organizational skills and attention to detail as you lead the loading and unloading of equipment as well as setup and breakdown of tables and chairs for a wide range of events, including weddings, corporate galas, and social gatherings.

  • Up to 30 hours per week and a non-traditional schedule

What You’ll Do:

  • Equipment Transport: Load event items, transport them to the event site via a JDK box truck, and in some cases return to the venue to break event items down and return them to their proper storage space in the warehouse.

  • Event Setup: Lead the setup of tables, chairs, linens, and other rental items according to event specifications and layout plans, ensuring everything is set up accurately and on time.

  • Quality Control: Conduct thorough inspections to ensure the cleanliness, functionality, and presentation of all rental items, making any necessary adjustments or replacements as needed.

  • Team Leadership: Supervise and support event setup staff, providing guidance and direction to ensure efficient and effective setup operations.

  • Client Interaction: Interact with clients and venue staff as needed to coordinate setup logistics and address any questions or concerns, ensuring a smooth and seamless experience for all involved.

  • General Duties: Jobs around the warehouse that include inside and outside asset maintenance.

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience in event setup or rental coordination preferred, but not required. We're willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

  • Meticulous attention to detail with a focus on quality and precision in all aspects of setup operations.

  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong teamwork and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients to achieve common goals.

  • Weekend and night availability

  • A valid driver's license and ability to drive transit vans and box trucks (non CDL)
