This is not a desk job—you will lead by doing, working shoulder-to-shoulder with your team to deliver seamless, memorable events that exceed client expectations and meet aggressive revenue goals.

You’ll bring strong sales acumen, operational leadership, and an entrepreneurial mindset to the role, taking full ownership of event success, client satisfaction, and team performance. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, takes pride in rolling up their sleeves, and turns every event into an opportunity to grow the business and create lifelong guests.

  • Meet or exceed monthly event revenue targets by selling unforgettable experiences and building strong client relationships.

  • Build trust and excitement by maintaining clear, consistent communication and addressing client needs with professionalism.
  • Plan each event in detail, including timelines, floorplans, menus, vendor coordination, and complete BEO documentation.
  • Conduct site visits, tastings, walkthroughs, and planning meetings to finalize event details and ensure flawless execution.
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to ensure everyone is aligned and fully prepared for event day.

Event Execution & Leadership

  • Take full ownership of event execution by leading staff, coordinating vendors, managing timelines, and problem-solving in real time.
  • Supervise all day-of operations including ceremony direction, beverage service, guest flow, and post-event breakdown.
  • Maintain a hands-on leadership style—actively participating in event setup, execution, and teardown to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Schedule, train, and supervise event staff to ensure proper support, performance, and alignment with Doffo Winery standards.
  • Manage staffing schedules and timecards to meet event needs while staying within labor budgets.
  • Stay present and visible throughout events, guiding the team, supporting vendors, and creating a positive, high-energy environment.

  • Maintain inventory of event supplies, track usage, and report restocking needs.
  • Design and print menus and marketing materials using Canva and other software as needed.
  • Lock down event details and the property—closing registers, securing areas, and wrapping up events with professionalism.

Team Development

  • Schedule, train and mentor event staff, promoting a culture of service excellence, accountability, and collaboration.
  • Lead by example—modeling Doffo Winery standards of professionalism, communication, and guest focus.
  • Ensure all team members deliver excellent service and stay aligned with Doffo Winery’s standards.
