Evening Shuttle Driver - House Person Full-Time
SUMMARY
A Shuttle Driver assist guests with transportation, Luggage Assistance, and coordinates guests’ needs, requests, and inquiries to ensure superior service and value for our guests.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Guest Service
· Maintains guest service as the driving philosophy of the operation
· Personally demonstrates a commitment to guest service in responding promptly to guests’ needs
· Committed to making every guest is satisfied
· Meets or exceeds guest satisfaction measures
· Ensures hotel standards and services contribute to the delivery of consistent guest service
· Implements and practices guest service initiatives and performs to Gulph Creek Hotel Standards
Shuttle Driver/Valet Operations
· Attendants carry luggage for hotel guests.
· Escort incoming guests to the Front Desk
· Offer information regarding features of rooms, services of hotel and points of interest.
· Assist guests with special needs.
· Deliver items and messages for guests.
· Handle guest requests.
· Maintain luggage storage areas.
· Cleaning and maintenance of common areas.
· Provide area maps, brochures and other literature.
· Provide information on facilities, services, events and attractions, tours, travel routes and transportation schedules.
· Obey all driving rules and regulations; i.e. speed limits, etc.
· Maintain cleanliness and maintenance of hotel shuttle
· Report any issues to management
· Log mileage and daily runs in the Shuttle Log
- Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
- Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Gulph Creek Standards, as required by scheduling, which will vary according to the needs of the hotel.
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include wearing the proper uniform and nametag when working.
- Comply at all times with the Gulph Creek standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School diploma or equivalent, plus relative experience in customer service
LANGUAGE AND MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
· Ability to read and speak English and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
· Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees
· Ability to effectively communicate with employees, guests and supervisors for optimum operation of the property
REASONING ABILITY
· Ability to apply common sense of understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
· Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Valid State Drivers License
