Bar & Guest Experience Manager - Moxy Charlotte

We are looking for an Bar & Guest Experience Manager that is involved in all facets of property management, with heavy oversight of the Front Desk and F&B Operations.
Responsibilities
· Serve as the manager on duty for all hotel operations during evening hours, acting as the primary point of contact for guests, team members, and any escalated situations
· Oversee Bar Moxy floor operations, ensuring service standards, pace, and guest experience are consistently executed
· Partner with the front desk team to ensure seamless guest arrivals, departures, and any overnight needs are handled with urgency and care
· Monitor and manage labor and operational decisions within established guidelines
· Coach and hold accountable hourly team members in real time, providing feedback that reinforces standards without disrupting the guest experience
· Conduct pre-shift meetings and ensure the team is prepared, informed, and energized before each service
· Complete nightly manager logs and communicate relevant updates to hotel leadership
· Respond to and resolve guest concerns promptly, following up to ensure satisfaction
· Maintain a visible, approachable presence on the floor throughout the shift rather than operating from the back of house
Qualifications
- 2+ years in a high-volume bar or restaurant environment, preferably in a hotel or lifestyle/boutique brand
- Experience managing or leading a team, including scheduling and performance conversations
- Comfort operating at or near the front desk, handling guest escalations, check-ins, or lobby presence during peak hours
- Strong floor presence during service, not a back-office operator
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and peak periods consistently
- Basic PMS familiarity is a plus, not a requirement
- TIPS/ServSafe certified or willing to obtain
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Must be fluent in English.
