ERP / Systems Administrator

Legacy Metals, LLC is a rapidly growing, family owned business located in Hopkinsville, KY and is a leading provider of pole barns, barndominium and houses. We operate a full-service lumber yard and manufacture metal siding and trim. We're looking for a creative and dedicated team player to help us to maintain and improve our use of software and technology.
POSITION SUMMARY:
This is an in-office position in Hopkinsville, KY. The ERP / Systems Administrator oversees the day-to-day use of our ERP (Odoo) and other Information Systems. This person conducts research and development for future system improvement. Assist with troubleshooting tech issues on site and directs activities of 3rd party IT services and developers.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Configure, maintain, and optimize the Enterprise Resource Planning and Information Systems (Odoo ERP & various Information System tools).
- Collaborate closely with various business units to ensure the ERP and information system meets business needs effectively.
- Serve as the main point of contact for technical support.
- Provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements to streamline business processes.
- Exercise independent judgment to analyze and diagnose application and information system-related problems and issues.
- Administer and maintain the ERP system and other software service accounts, including user access, security settings, and system configurations.
- Monitor system performance and ensure optimal operation of the ERP and information systems.
- Conduct regular system audits to ensure data security & integrity, accuracy, and compliance with organizational policies and regulations.
- Develop and maintain system documentation, including user guides, standard operating procedures, and configuration details.
- Plan and execute system upgrades, patches, and migrations in coordination with business teams.
- Coordinate with internal & external resources and consultants for system integrations, upgrades, and support as needed.
- Provision new users and provide basic training to new employees on system usage.
- Train end-users on system functionalities, best practices, and new features.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and advancements in ERP technologies to recommend improvements and optimizations.
- Effectively communicates with internal team members and end users to ensure clear and prompt delivery of solutions.
- Provides superior customer service to all system users.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Strong understanding of ERP systems and core business applications such as Office 365, project management software, SASS environments, etc.
- Experience in ERP implementation, management, and 3rd party integrations in complex environments.
- Experience managing stakeholder expectations across multiple projects with competing priorities.
- Creative problem-solver who is skilled at overcoming obstacles and solutions around key business problems.
- Proven ability to design and implement new processes within systems and facilitate user adoption.
- Excellent project management skills and skilled cross-functional collaborator
- Experience with other platforms, such as ClickUp, Salesforce a plus.
- Experience with Odoo ERP or other manufacturing ERP a plus.
- Agile and adaptable to changing circumstances.
- Experience with databases, and computer languages. (Pyton, Javascript etc..)
- Ability to work independently and collaborate.
Job Type: Full-Time (40 hrs./wk.)
Location: Hopkinsville, KY (Not Remote)
Salary Range: 55 to 70K based on experience.
