Who We are Looking For 

We are seeking an experienced ERP Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ERP systems, with experience in managing multiple product lines to help optimize our business processes, improve operational efficiency, and drive digital transformation. This position is offered as either remote or an in-office position that can be based out of one of our main BC (Kamloops, Langley, Chilliwack) or Alberta (Calgary, Edmonton) branch locations.

Key Responsibilities 

• Reporting to the Management and Finance Team, the ERP Specialist will be the go-to person for all aspects of Microsoft Dynamics D365 Business Central for the entire Delta Group team. 

• Oversee the configuration, and maintenance of our Microsoft Dynamics D365 Business Central ERP system 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into ERP solutions. 

• Provide timely, expert support and troubleshooting for ERP users, ensuring smooth operations. 

• Conduct system updates, audits, and improvements, ensuring alignment with industry best practices. 

• Analyze and optimize business processes within the ERP system, identifying areas for efficiency gains and cost savings. 

• Develop and deliver training to staff on ERP functionalities and workflows. 

• Work with external vendors and consultants as necessary to customize the ERP system. 

• Develop and maintain reports to ensure data visibility and improve efficiency. 

• Ensure ERP system security, data integrity, and compliance with relevant regulations. 

• Provide technical support to staff for hardware, software and network issues.  

What You Offer 

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, or related field with certifications in MB-800. 

• Familiarity with Power Platform tools (Power Automate, Power BI) to develop or assist in developing workflows and support the creation of data warehouses for building dashboards. 

• Proven experience as an ERP Specialist, with expertise in Microsoft Dynamics D365 Business Central/NAV.

• Solid understanding of managing multiple product lines with different price groups and discount levels. 

• Experience in data analysis, system configuration, and troubleshooting within ERP platforms.  Awareness of API integration and extending ERP functionality with custom extensions using Microsoft tools.  

• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills. 

• Strong analytical skills to evaluate system performance and recommend both functional and technical improvements. 

• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. 

• Strong project management skills and attention to detail. 

Other Assets

• Good to have a basic understanding of SQL queries and data migration tools for troubleshooting and ensuring smooth data transitions.
