Position Purpose
The Emergency Department Technician performs routine duties within the limits of documented training for the emergency department patient. The care is rendered under the supervision and direction of a Registered Nurse
Position Qualifications
Education:
High School Graduate or equivalent. Must be able to read, comprehend medical terminology, and communicate effectively with others.
Experience:
Prior experience in the emergency medical field preferred.
Licenses/Certificates:
Current BLS or within first week of orientation
Working Conditions:
Works in a clean, ventilated, and well lighted, heated/air conditioned building.
