ER Registered Nurse- PRN Night Shift
Duties:
- Provide direct patient care, including assessments, evaluations, and treatments
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patient progress and update medical records using eClinicalWorks or similar electronic health record system
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Conduct discharge planning and coordinate post-hospital care services for patients
- Provide health coaching and education to patients and their families
- Assist with sterile processing of medical equipment and instruments
- Perform specialized procedures such as gastric lavage, neonatal ventilator management, and infant care for special needs patients
Skills:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of medical procedures and protocols
- Ability to lift and move patients safely
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems such as eClinicalWorks or similar software
