Environmental Services Supervisor

IMC is currently has an opening for our Environmental Services (Housekeeping) Supervisor position. This position will be responsible for performing routine cleaning of patient rooms, nursing units, offices, and clinical areas, waiting areas, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators and stairways in a clean, neat and sanitary manner. Includes buffing floors as needed. Performs all assigned tasks in a professional manner in order to reflect the highest integrity of the Environmental Services Department.

QUALIFICATIONS:

 EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred 
• Previous supervisor experience and current hospital experience is desired.  
• One to three (1-3) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred             

       PRINCIPAL TASKS, DUTIES, & RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Performs all aspects of assigned tasks in a manner that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/health care errors.
  
• Maintains set quality standards when performing job duties. 
• Ability to work day, evening or night shift as assigned.
• Ability to do work on his/her own with normal supervision.
• Observes safety precautions at all times.
• Maintains and ensures age-specific precautions.
• Supports and maintains a culture of safety and quality.
