Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Lead new business capture efforts.
  • Lead all phases of the program from requirements analysis, initial planning through all phases to successful product delivery. 
  • Create, coordinate, update project plans throughout the lifecycle.
  • Development and maintenance of the program integrated master schedule to include the internal and external milestones and phases as established by the respective program teams.
  • Ensure client deliverables are identified and met through effective management of each assigned project component and its associated project staff.
  • Travel to project sites to monitor activities throughout project lifecycle.
  • Identify and communicate staffing needs to IPS leadership to resolve needs.
  • Maintain awareness and ensures successful execution of required invoicing and associated deadlines.
  • Coordinate the monthly and weekly monitoring and reporting of project financial status.
  • Work alongside project teaming partners to ensure successful project execution.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Requires Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering and/or Analytical discipline.
  • 8+ years of relevant capture and project management experience.
  • Ability to quickly acquire a working knowledge of program- or project-specific laws, policies, procedures and correspondence.
  • Demonstrated experience in successful cost, schedule and contract management of engineering development and integration projects.
  • Must be a dynamic and energetic leader that involves other team members in the decision making and change process.
  • Previous experience working with teaming subcontractors to successfully integrate and deliver on schedule.
  • Candidate must be willing to travel to support capture and project needs (average 30%).
  • Candidate must be a US Citizen to obtain remote facility access necessary to support the projects.

Desired/Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with material management, including management of lead times, vendor challenges, efficient tracking systems.
  • Experience with automating DOD munitions facilities and processes.
