Endpoint Security Engineer

Rapid Strategy is an award-winning, African-American-owned small business delivering advanced cybersecurity services to public and private sector clients. We are known for our hands-on expertise, client-focused delivery, and commitment to workforce development. We’re currently hiring an Endpoint Security Engineer to lead a critical endpoint configuration and security project for a national nonprofit organization.

Key Responsibilities

·       Lead endpoint enrollment, compliance, and configuration using Microsoft Intune and Autopilot.

·       Support the creation and deployment of a Golden Image for Windows and macOS devices.

·       Deploy and validate CrowdStrike Falcon and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint across user endpoints.

·       Enforce device compliance policies including encryption (BitLocker/FileVault), OS patching, antivirus, firewall, and agent health.

·       Implement and optimize Conditional Access and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) policies via Azure AD.

·       Apply CIS Benchmark configurations across Windows and Mac endpoints.

·       Configure patch management and compliance reporting dashboards.

·       Collaborate with internal project teams and client stakeholders to document and validate deliverables.

·       Provide knowledge transfer, documentation, and support for project handoff.

Minimum Qualifications

·       4+ years in endpoint security, Intune/Endpoint Manager, or IT systems engineering.

·       Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, and endpoint compliance configuration.

·       Experience deploying and managing CrowdStrike Falcon and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint.

·       Strong understanding of BitLocker, FileVault, and encryption key management.

·       Familiarity with Azure AD Conditional Access, MFA, and role-based access control (RBAC).

·       Experience applying CIS Benchmarks or similar configuration baselines.

·       Solid scripting knowledge (PowerShell preferred).

·       Excellent communication skills and documentation abilities.

·       Must be eligible to work in the United States and able to pass a background check.

Preferred Qualifications

·       Experience in creating and maintaining golden images using MDT, SCCM, or Intune.

·       Knowledge of 3rd party patch management tools (e.g., Patch My PC).

·       Microsoft certifications such as MD-102 (Endpoint Administrator) or AZ-104 (Azure Administrator) are a plus.
