Fire Prevention Officer- Charlton Fire Department

The Charlton Fire Department is seeking a full-time Fire Prevention Officer. This position plays a critical role in fire safety through inspection, code enforcement education and prevention efforts. This is primarily an administrative roll under the direction of the Chief and Deputy Chief. 

Minimum Qualifications: 

* High School Diploma/GED

* Valid Drivers License

* Fire Prevention Basic Officer

* EMT or Paramedic Certified

* 5 years full-time fire department experience 

* Knowledge of Fire Safety Code

Salary Range: $70,900.00 (EMT minimum) - $79,400 (Paramedic maximum) Depending on years of service and qualifications. We are currently in union negotiations. Hours will be agreed upon with Chief.
