Employee Education Manager / Human Resource Specialist

The Employee Education Manager / Human Resource Specialist is responsible for providing human resources support for the facility, which includes recruitment, assisting with new hire orientation, maintaining personnel records and files, assisting with employee benefit administration, responding to employee inquiries regarding insurance and other benefits, unemployment compensation inquiries and correspondence, employment verifications and other administrative duties.

 

The Employee Education Manager / Human Resource Specialist is responsible for creating, enhancing, and presenting the delivery of effective employee training programs that contribute to a quality-centered learning organization.  Duties include monitoring, evaluating, and assessing the educational activities are in alignment with MORA’s current and future needs.

 

This position will also be responsible for assisting employees with on the job related injuries and the various non clinical aspects of our Workers Compensation program.  

Education and Work Experience Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required or equivalent training and or experience.

 

  1. Minimum 2 years’ experience in a health care setting required.

 

  1. Excellent oral and written communication skills.

 

  1. Knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, rules, statutes and codes

 

  1. Ability to work a minimum of 40 hours per week.  Required to work for extended periods of time with few breaks.

 

  1. Detail oriented, organized, excellent tracking/reporting skills, effective written and verbal communication.
