Overnight Weekend -- Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 10:30 pm to 8:30 am
This position serves as “direct care” staff in an emergency care setting for children who are victims of child abuse/neglect. The children range in age from 0-17. Responsibilities include the day-to-day oversight of the resident’s daily care; administration of medications; accountability for children’s safety and on-going activities; and communication & computer documentation of resident’s activities and behaviors. Other daily duties may include meal preparation, laundry, and light housekeeping.
Participation in a mandatory bi-weekly staff meeting on Mondays at mid-day is also required. You will be paid for meetings and training and meals (provided) while on duty. $10.50 hourly with some overtime available.

Applicant must have at least one-year experience in working with at-risk children/youth, or related experience, to be considered for this position.
Applicant must pass a criminal history background check, pre-employment drug screen, and TB test. An FBI Fingerprint test will also be part of the process. A current Texas driver’s license and reliable transportation are required as well as a current Texas Liability Insurance Card.
