Embroidery Digitizer
Job Title: Embroidery Digitizer
Reports to: Production Manager
Rate: $18 an hour
Job Status: Fulltime, Eligible for competitive benefits after 30 days
Location: Apex, NC

The embroidery digitizer position will be responsible for the digitization of customer supplied artwork into usable embroidery file formats such as but not limited to. DST and .EMB files. Any subsequent edits or enhancements will be made by the embroidery digitizer. The embroidery digitizer will also be responsible for converting customer sent logos into high resolution eps files in Adobe Illustrator. This position must be very organized, have high attention to detail and possess good technical skills.
Position Responsibilities:
- Digitizing logos from customer supplied artwork
- Editing existing logos already digitized
- Providing stitch count estimates to Coloring / Production Team
- Provide help to Embroidery Machine Operators with stitch file edits
- Produce Sew-Outs for customer approval – make edits to design if necessary
- Develop strong working knowledge of Embroidery on different fabrics
- Vectorizing customer sent logos
- Interact positively with co-workers under heavy workload in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrates ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal

Qualifications:
· High School Diploma or GED preferred
· Proficient in Adobe Illustrator
· Previous experience preferred, but willing to train quality candidates
· Must be detail-oriented
· Willingness to work in shifts (late or early hours, weekends, and overtime if necessary)
