ELM Utility Services is seeking an Electronic Repair Technician to work in our Missoula, Montana officeThis person will perform routine repair of electronic locating equipment, clerical duties, and general assistance to the Repair Manager.

Your specific duties in this role will include, but not be limited to:
 
·         Ability to solve problems
·         Excellent writing skills and computer skills including MS Office Suite, SolarWinds, and Outlook
·         Experience with Excel Spreadsheets.
·         Prioritize and manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines with efficiency and accuracy
 
Knowledge of electrical test equipment (oscilloscopes, generators, and power supplies), electrical     components and hardware mechanics is desired.
            Ability to work off schematics and other technical data sheets is desired.
            Provide repair analysis for continuous product improvement.
            Good soldering skills is desirable.
            Applicant must have sufficient problem-solving ability and work well with other team members.
            Software and hardware inventory management.
            Documentation of support trouble tickets, resolutions, and on-going configurations.
 
 Required Physical Abilities:
         Ability to bend, stoop, reach, stand and move from one area of building to another including stairs on a regular basis, sit and use a computer for long period of time.
         Manual and physical dexterity needed to operate a keyboard and handle paper documents.
         Ability to lift and carry items up to 20 pounds – including up and down stairs multiple times a day.
         Adequate hearing and verbal abilities to communicate effectively in person and by telephone.
 
Specific qualifications for the position include:
·         High school diploma or equivalent
·           1-3 years previous repair experience.
