Job Description

Provide Electrical Engineering and Drafting Support using AutoDesk Products. Assist the project manager in assuring timely project completion. Duties may include developing schedules, budgets, progress reviews, billings, bids, change orders, submittal lists, and reports. Interface with subcontractors, owners, vendors, and company personnel to coordinate the efficient completion of design and construction projects. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Develop Engineering Designs and CAD drawings for new site installation and existing system modifications.
  • Create project management documentation that may include schedules, material purchases, cost management, progress charts, etc.
  • Coordinate and communicate with owners, vendors, crews, subcontractors, architects, and suppliers to facilitate timely project completion.
  • As required, conduct workplace inspections assessing quantity and specification/quality, percent completion by subcontractors, and safety compliance.
  • Develop operations and maintenance manuals, as required.
  • Exercise initiative or, as directed, perform additional duties to meet the needs of the organization. 

Recommended Qualifications:

  • Minimum of associates degree or 8 yrs. equivalent experience required.
  • Construction Management/Science/Engineering Major or Electrical Engineering Major interested in electrical systems design, installation, and testing. 
    Nuclear Experience preferred.
  • Proficient with AutoCAD.
  • Experience with electrical facility power distribution for utility systems, lighting, HVAC, building management and monitoring systems.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
