Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Assembler to join our dynamic manufacturing team on second shift. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling electrical components and wiring with precision and efficiency. Duties
- Assemble electronic components and subassemblies according to detailed schematics and technical drawings, ensuring accuracy.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and soldering equipment.
- Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation to complete electrical wiring tasks accurately.
- Utilize ohmmeters and other measurement tools to verify electrical continuity and circuit functionality.
- Perform mechanical assembly tasks, including machining, fitting parts together, and securing components using mechanical knowledge.
- Inspect completed assemblies for defects or inconsistencies using visual inspection techniques and established quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while ensuring compliance with all safety protocols.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot issues related to product assembly or electrical wiring during the manufacturing process.
- Document assembly and traceability processes as required.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in manufacturing or electronics assembly with a strong understanding of electrical wiring, schematics, and assembly processes.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and their integration into electrical assemblies is a plus.
- Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams accurately.
- Mechanical aptitude with experience using hand tools (e.g., screwdrivers, pliers, calipers) and power tools for assembly tasks.
- Knowledge of mechanical assembly processes and experience working with mechanical components is advantageous.
- Skilled in using measurement instruments, including ohmmeters for electrical testing and calipers for precise measurements.
- Electrical experience, including circuit troubleshooting and knowledge of electrical safety protocols.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent manual dexterity; able to follow instructions meticulously while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate within a team environment.
