Essential Functions

• The Echo Tech is responsible for performing the technical functions required and associated with Echocardiography.  Performs a variety of Echo and ultrasound procedures at a skilled technical level requiring the ability to apply prescribed methods of diagnosis and reports preliminary findings and diagnoses to the Radiologist.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Ultrasound Technology
• Must hold National Registry such as ARDMS or CCI for Echo Registry.
• Minimum of 1one year of ultrasound experience is preferred.
• Must be able to effectively communicate in English via verbal and written means
• BLS and ARDMS certifications are required upon hire.
