Position Summary
We are seeking a caring, reliable, and enthusiastic Early Childhood Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about working with children, values teamwork, and is committed to providing high-quality care and education in a licensed childcare setting.

Key Responsibilities
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that support children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development
• Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and team members
• Observe and document children’s development and learning
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom
• Follow all licensing regulations and health & safety guidelines
• Support daily routines including meals, rest time, and outdoor play
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child’s day and progress
• Collaborate with team members to support program planning and centre initiatives

Qualifications
• Valid Early Childhood Education (ECE) License or ECE Assistant Certificate (required, depending on role)
• Valid First Aid & CPR certification
• Criminal Record Check (vulnerable sector)
• Strong understanding of child development and play-based learning
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Reliable, punctual, and professional

Preferred Qualifications
• Infant/Toddler or Special Needs certification (asset)
• Previous experience in a licensed childcare setting
• Knowledge of BC Child Care Licensing Regulations
