Cedar & Spruce is seeking a professional, reliable Campground Manager (Host) for Eau Claire Campground in the Kananaskis region.
Eau Claire Campground is a fully off-grid location with no utility services or hookups. This role is best suited to individuals who are comfortable with self-sufficient RV living and working in a more remote environment.
This is a seasonal, live-on-site role running from June 18 through September 6. Applicants must provide a fully self-contained RV capable of operating without external services.
Position Overview
The Campground Manager (Host) is responsible for overseeing daily campground operations, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety, and delivering consistent guest service.
Key Responsibilities
· Oversee day-to-day campground operations.
· Conduct regular inspections of campsites, washrooms, and shared areas.
· Welcome campers and provide professional guest service.
· Provide information regarding campground regulations and surrounding area.
· Monitor compliance with campground rules and fire safety requirements.
· Clean vault toilets and shared spaces.
· Manage garbage and recycling collection.
· Maintain firepits and assist with firewood sales.
· Report maintenance, safety concerns, and incidents to management.
Qualifications
· Fully self-contained RV suitable for off-grid living.
· Strong communication and customer service skills.
· Ability to work independently with sound judgment.
· Valid Class 5 driver’s license.
· First Aid Level 1 certification (or willingness to obtain).
· Clear criminal record check.
· Physically capable of lifting up to 25 lbs and working outdoors in varied weather conditions.
