Start Date: mid-April for full time work Mid-May 

Work Hours: Seasonal, Full-time + Part-time roles available

Location: Central Burnaby / Vancouver 

Wages: $22.50 per hour + daily overtime + pooled commission = average earnings of $25-$26 per hour

+ extended health benefits (company pays 1/2 if you opt in and work full time)

At Gray Line Westcoast Sightseeing, we are hiring new stars to join our Hop-On, Hop-Off City Sightseeing Driver team. If you have a passion for showing off Vancouver to visitors from around the world? Are you a warm, friendly, and outgoing team player that would fit in with our team-oriented and supportive culture – then we want to meet you. And you can’t beat our office views of beautiful Vancouver from your driver’s seat!

YOUR WORK WILL INCLUDE:

• Driving a tour bus on a fixed, scheduled route around Downtown Vancouver in a safe manner
• Driving safely and efficiently to keep on schedule to posted route timing
• Providing exceptional service to our guests
• Performing daily pre and post-trip inspections
• Promoting partner attractions and online reviews
• Effective and professional communication over radio/phone 
• Ability to adapt quickly and efficiently to changing traffic patterns, street closures or detours
• Accurately perform credit transactions using point of sale terminals
• Professionally handle guest queries and concerns
• Coordinating with Step On Tour Guides on the bus to ensure smooth operations, guest safety, and excellent customer service

WHAT WE WILL LIKE ABOUT YOU:

• You have a friendly + outgoing personality with a guest first focus
• You possess a valid BC Class 1 OR Class 2 Licence with air brake endorsement, with clean driver abstract
• You possess a professional attitude and appearance
• You have the flexibility to accommodate a changing schedule, available to work any day of the week, and an average shift length of 10-11 hours per day
• You can work a full-time schedule over the peak summer touring months
• You have previous experience working in a customer service role 
• You have the ability to work well both independently with minimum direction, and as part of a team 
• You are fluent in English, written and oral. Ability to speak a second language is a bonus.
• You are legally entitled to work in Canada
