Responsibilities and Skills for Helper Position

Assisting with Loading and Unloading the Truck using Pallet Jack

Comfortable riding in the Route Truck with the driver to customer locations to deliver bags of ice

Assisting the driver at delivery stops by tossing ice from the back of an ice truck to the driver.

Keeping the trash and inside of the truck clean in between stops

Assisting the driver in backing up at ice merchandisers

Must have physical stamina to repeatedly lift 16 lb. bags of ice while bending for up to 12 hours daily, if needed

Must have physical stamina to lift and carry 50 lbs. up to 12 hours daily,if needed.

Must have excellent customer service skills for interactions on the delivery route

Must be punctual with a strong attendance record

This position is Seasonal and is expected to run April-Sept/October. This schedule is perfect for students who are looking for work while school is out. 

Must be willing to work weekdays/weekend as needed/ Must be willing to work summer holidays such as Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day due to the nature of our business.
