Job Description:
This position’s primary role is resolving any driver issues regarding product returned to
the warehouse, returning product to proper locations in the warehouse and providing
administrative support to the warehouse and delivery departments. This position is
responsible for the close-date beer wall.
Job Duties:
• Learn product code numbers; code dates
• Assists in keeping the warehouse clean and orderly
• Reports to Receiving Coordinator any safety hazards or anything that will
contribute to a more efficient warehouse
• Meet with Receiving Coordinator on a daily basis about issues related to closedate
inventory, redistribution, upcoming issues, etc
• Count, record and produce close-date inventory daily
• Utilize Encompass to check for close date product, *Computer skills
• Check dates on swapped products; separate into close-date, out-of-date,
breakers, and fresh inventory
• Is knowledgeable about the Encompass program and is able to return drivers
• Record daily if product is swapped within the 30-day requirement
• Organize the close-date product area daily
• Record and produce daily swap recap and end of shift report
• Maintains spreadsheet on pushed / returned orders
• Assist warehouse in pulling and loading product when job allows
• Rotate close-date inventory daily
• Blind count any beer coming back to the warehouse. Document it and have the
driver initial the count. Turn in driver’s paperwork to accounting department
• Return all drivers/trucks at the end of each day as they return to the warehouse
• Run empty pallets from off-premise trucks to beginning of pick path; 14 high.

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED required
• Ability to work with computer programs associated with the performance of the position
• Good communication skills, ability to work well with all levels of the organization, to organize, and prioritize
• Decision making, thoroughness and time management a must
• Must be able to perform basic mathematical calculations
• Must pass all pre-employment screenings including a physical, drug test and background investigation
• Able to work independently in a fast paced warehouse operation and learn product locations
• Able to read, write and communicate in English as it relates to the job and to the safety regulations
• Work experience in warehouse or other field preferred
• Must be able to constantly lift 20-50 lbs. and occasionally up to 160 lbs
