We are looking to add a Fabrication Shop Apprentice/ Driver to join our team in Baltimore, MD. This unique role combines handling deliveries of materials and finished products to job sites and customers while also learning the trade of metal fabrication! if you have a knack for safe and efficient driving, enjoy working with your hands, and take pride in craftsmanship, this is the perfect opportunity for you! 

Responsibilities

• Delivers and unloads product orders to specified locations at the designated customers and job sites
• Performs the necessary warehouse tasks in conjunction with deliveries, such as pulling/assembling orders and loading delivery trucks.
• Provide assistance to mechanic with Ductwork, Fittings, and Staging/ Warehouse work
• Learn and operate equipment trained on and approved by Shop Foreman, Supervisor and/or Manager
• Provide assistance to shop staff in performing normal shop duties such as unloading and storing of inbound materials and shipping tasks

Qualifications 

• Ability to attain state DOT certification
• Knowledge of general safety regulations
• Skill to learn and operate fabrication machinery
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to follow directions in a team environment or alone

Base Pay - $20-$24/ Hr Commensurate with experience. This range represents a general guideline; however, a number of factors are considered when determining the base pay offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions
