Join Our Team
We are seeking a Bilingual Program Coordinator to provide support and leadership to our YMCA Enterprise Olympics Program. The Bilingual Program Coordinator will guide students as they build businesses and tap into their entrepreneurial potential. Aiding in the education of students across the province on the process of creating and evaluating new business ventures. The Bilingual Program Coordinator will be responsible for developing and delivering a comprehensive entrepreneurial program tailored for newcomer students and French-Speaking students, and support the preparation and delivery of the Annual YMCA Enterprise Olympics Conference for the students across the province. This position will focus on fostering entrepreneurial skills, providing mentorship, and creating experiential learning opportunities. This is a contract position located at our Programs Office in St. John's a the Ches Penney Family YMCA with an estimated end date of July 31, 2026 contingent on the applicable funding. Access to a vehicle will be required, as this position includes travel throughout the Avalon Metro Region.
Job Requirements
- Post-secondary education in Business or related field
- Entrepreneurship experience considered an asset
- Bilingual, English and French
- 3 plus years experience in leading the preparation and delivery of professional events
- Ability to network, build and maintain professional relationships
- Ability to adjust to changing organization, program, job and participant need
- Valid Newfoundland Drivers License and access to a vehicle
- Standard First Aid and CPR
- Criminal Records Check and Vulnerable Sectors Checks are reviewed on an individual basis
