Draft Beer Line Cleaner

Monday – Friday

6am – 2pm or 3pm

$18 an hour

Job Description:   

This position is accountable to the cleaning and maintenance of all draft lines in his assigned accounts and assisting with the installation of new draft lines and systems.    Also performs minor preventative maintenance on draft systems and reports serious maintenance issues to immediate supervisor.  

 

Job Duties

  • Receives weekly schedule of accounts from immediate supervisor.  May handle urgent requests as needed 
  • Perform the draft equipment cleaning according to brewery standards on all assigned draft accounts on the scheduled day and in the established sequence 
  • Bi-Weekly cleaning of all assigned accounts 
  • Quarterly acid wash  
  • Understand the operation of draft equipment and make repairs and adjustments 
  • If performing minor or preventative maintenance on draft beer systems, ensures immediate supervisors are kept informed of these activities to include: 
  • Faucets 
  • Tavern heads, for all accounts at time of cleaning 
  • On each scheduled cleaning flush all lines, disassemble and thoroughly clean all tavern heads and faucets 
  • Inspects parts for wear or other defects 
  • Provides high quality service in an efficient manner meeting productivity expectations 
  • Works special events as needed or when required.  Maintains and cleans all equipment at major venues 
  • Assist with the installation of new draft lines and equipment 
  • Assists with the cleaning and servicing of special event equipment at warehouse 
  • Cleans used draft equipment in order to place it back into inventory 
  • Assists with product deliveries as needed 
  • Works overtime when required  
  • Performs any additional duties and special tasks assigned by the Sales Manager 
  • Maintain an adequate inventory of draft maintenance supplies in your kit 
  • Maintain a working relationship with the owners, managers and employees of accounts 
  • Demonstrate a sincere interest in the business success of each account 
  • When possible, avoid retailer contacts during their busy times 
  • Have a positive attitude about all of your fellow employees when in discussions with account 
  • Conduct your activities according to company policies and procedures

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GEDrequired. 
  • An understanding of alcoholic beverage industry 
  • Ability to work with computerprograms associated with the performance of the position. 
  • Must be a results oriented professional with excellent verbal communication skills; uses diplomacy and discretion 
  • Ability to work well with all levels of the organization,to organize, prioritize, negotiate, manage, motive others and solveproblems 
  • Ability to multi-task, work independently and/or within a team, pay attention to detail and meet deadlines 
  • Highly professional, with ability to interface well with internal and external contacts 
  • Have strong customer service and interpersonal expertise  
  • Decision making, thoroughness and time management a must 
  • Knowledge of geographicareas; familiarity with assigned territory 
  • Possess a valid Texas drivers license and have an acceptable MVR 
  • Pass background and drug screens 
  • Prior beer industry experience preferred.
