Dough and Prep Manager/Day Delivery Driver

Dough and Prep responsibility will be to ensure all daily food preparation is conducted in a timely manner in accordance with local, state and federal health codes as well as Marco's Pizza policies and guidelines. Daily food preparation includes dough, which is made fresh in the store several time per week. Your secondary inside responsibility will be to assist in making food on the line between prep cycles, answering phone, taking orders and otherwise assisting customers and store managers in daily tasks. These daily tasks might include putting away the food truck once or twice per week depending on your shifts.

Demonstrating integrity in all interactions and ensuring the safety of both customers and team members is crucial.

You will also deliver pizzas during the day. Our Drivers are friendly, customer-service people who offer a smile when delivering our pizzas. With close to half of Marco's customers ordering for delivery, we count on drivers to be our ambassadors to the front doors of our delivery community.

 Safety comes first, and you will be trained on in-store and on-the-road best practices for pizza delivery. With a good driving record, auto insurance and the desire and ability to delivery great customer service with every pizza, you have the makings of a successful job or career at Marco's.

Additional Responsibilities:

· Be professional with all Marco's Pizza customers

· Promptly handle all customer concerns by delighting each of our customers

· Willing to open and close our store according to Marco's Pizza standards; including counting nightly inventory and cash control

· Willing to be coached to higher management levels

· Willing to perform all Marco's Pizza Prep Management functions and store operations

· Willing to perform and uphold Marco's Pizza daily cleaning duties

· Willing to maintain a safe and organized restaurant for employees and customers

Hours Available:

· This is a full-time hourly position (at least 32 hours per week)

· Candidate must be available during the day including Saturdays and Sundays

· We are closed Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.

Physical Demands:

· Applicant must be able to use their hands and arms repetitively, especially for kneading dough, stand for extended periods of time, use their feet repetitively (specifically walking around), bend over, twist body and head, reach above shoulder level, kneel to ground level, push and/or pull, or move and/or lift up to 50 pounds. Occasionally, the applicant may need to push and/or pull or move and/or lift over 51 pounds

Pay:

Base pay will be between $14 and $15 per hour. Drivers take home money daily in the form or reimbursements per delivery and possibly tips. This position will also earn insider tips when performing Dough and Prep duties inside the store NOT on deliveries. You will NOT be able to earn insider tips and driver tips at the same time. You will be responsible for changing your role in the system to ensure you are getting the correct tips.
