Notre Dame Preparatory School is seeking a full-time Donor Services Manager to begin immediately. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with all members of the Advancement Team to support overall Advancement Office operations and fundraising efforts. The Donor Services Manager will report to the Director of Annual Giving and Donor Services and has ownership of the Raiser’s Edge/NXT database; including but not limited to its maintenance, upkeep, and upgrading, and ensuring that all necessary information is accessible, accurate, and clean. Employment is full-time for 12-months.

Notre Dame Preparatory School is an independent, Catholic, school for girls in grades 6-12 located in Towson, Maryland.  Founded in 1873 by the School Sisters of Notre Dame, Notre Dame Prep is rooted in tradition but contemporary in education empowering its students to become women who transform the world. The school’s original mission, to foster academic excellence, spiritual growth and practice social justice in its students continues to inspire the approximately 800 girls currently enrolled in grades 6-12.  

General Position Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assume responsibility for the management and maintenance of confidential, computerized donor records, including their giving histories and other personal and business information.
  • Assist with production of the Annual Impact Report; create donor listings from database.
  • Design and produce accurate queries, imports, exports, reports, and lists for mailings, digital solicitations, newsletters, event invitations, and portfolio support in a timely and systematic manner.

  • Annually build new constituent records and maintain existing records to ensure that data is aligned across the institution.

  • Complete special research projects in support of major, planned, and foundation giving initiatives, as requested.
  • Collaborate with Gift Processor to ensure accurate acknowledgement letters, pledge letters, and tax receipts.

  • Create data-informed analysis to help fine-tune donor and volunteer cultivation and relationships.

  • Work within Raiser’s Edge/NXT modules to create events, track registrations, and ensure integrity of data by updating addresses, contact information, constituency codes, relationships, duplicates, deceased or inactive constituents, bad addresses, and donor solicitation preferences.

  • Provide, support, and identify training in support of staff members’ accurate and appropriate use of Raiser’s Edge/NXT.

  • Manage relationship with Blackbaud.

  • Manage routine data reporting for annual benchmarking purposes.

·         Assist in fundraising and stewardship efforts, including annual endowment mailing and scholarship reports.

  • Work occasional evening and weekend events as needed.

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred

Skills/Abilities/Experience:

·         Three (3) years of related work experience preferably in a school setting. Five years related work experience preferred.

  • Experience with Blackbaud’s Raiser’s Edge or other advancement/fundraising database.
  • Highly detailed-oriented with a critical degree of accuracy regarding data entry and analysis.
  • Ability to prioritize work and perform multiple tasks simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.
  • Ability to understand and follow directions regarding complex policies and procedures.
  • Exhibit a professional demeanor and maintain confidentiality of data and constituent information.
  • Works well as a team member as well as independently.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications required.
  • Experience with Constant Contact, GetThru, GiveCampus or similar products preferred.
