Our mission is to provide an unparalleled luxury fishing experience that not only immerses our guests in the natural beauty of our surroundings but also instills a deep appreciation for fishing and the environment.

This full-time position has a contract length from now to mid-September.  

Drive west along one of the most scenic highways in Canada through the spectacular mountainous landscape of Strathcona Park and the village of Gold River towards Tahsis.  Approximately 2 hours by road from Campbell River on Vancouver Island is Moutcha Bay Resort, on the waters of Nootka Sound.

Requirements for Dockhand:

You have excellent customer service skills.

You are outgoing and have a warm manner with guests.

You are familiar with west coast saltwater fishing and marine operations.

You have knowledge of fishing tackle.

You have some cash handling experience.

You have your PCOC (Pleasure Craft Operator’s Card).

Duties of Dockhand:

Ensuring all rental boats have required safety equipment and read to go fishing gear.

Moving rental boats between fuel dock and parking slips.

Assisting guests with fueling and safety orientations.   

Greeting guests and helping them carry personal belongings.
