Dispatcher - Concrete Plant

DuBrook is in need of a ready-mix concrete dispatcher, to work out of our Dispatch Center located in Clarion.   This job is the perfect transition for someone who is looking to step away from the demands of working in the field but wants to remain a part of the fast paced concrete industry. 

The Concrete Plant Dispatcher will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling the delivery of concrete products to various job sites.  They will work closely with our dedicated and knowledgeable dispatch and production teams to ensure all orders are filled accurately and efficiently.  The Dispatcher must be able to communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and other members of the plant team to ensure that all operations run smoothly.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Receive and process orders for concrete products from customers via phone
• Schedule deliveries and coordinate delivery times with customers and drivers
• Collaborate with production team to ensure accurate and timely fulfillment or orders
• Manage multiple deliveries at once and adjust schedules as needed to accommodate changes or delays
• Provide exceptional customer service and address any customer concerns or complaints
• Maintain accurate records of orders, deliveries, and other plant operations

Qualifications:

• Experience working in the concrete industry strongly preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 2 years in dispatching, logistics or related field preferred
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Able to multitask and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Excellent organization and problem solving skills
• Familiarity with computer systems and programs
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends
