Dispatcher and Reservationist

We are looking for qualified, reliable, and customer service oriented individuals to coordinate multi-trip reservations. The Dispatcher/Reservationist will be the first touch point that our customers experience at Carey of Austin.
Job Description:
- Answer phone in a consistent manner
- Respond to customer requests and update the computerized booking system
- Input and modify reservations, making sure that the entry is accurate and complete
- Speak to clients with common courtsey, and respect
- Use Microsoft based software to do a combination of data entry and analyzing to schedule trips
- Must have ability to work nights and weekends
- Great time management skills and adaptable
- Proficient with computers
- Exceptional communication skills
- Perform other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- Ensure all clients are picked up on time
- Provide direction, guidance, and support to drivers, clients, and any other appropriate personnel as needed
- Respond to and professionally manage high call volume, unanticipated ride volume and capacity surges, inclement weather emergencies, and other unexplained events
- Quickly and efficiently coordinate the process of all client requests including reservations, changes or cancellations
- Route, schedule, and coordinate drivers in vehicles to various locations in a realistic and efficient manner based upon geography and current logistics
- Provide pricing info and recommend the most efficient pick-up time and vehicle to suit the client's needs and geography
- Establish rapport with the drivers
- Know location of all vehicles and drivers at all times while dispatching through on-going connection and communication throughout the course of your shift, while utilizing and monitoring the vehicle and driver grid
- Regularly check airline schedules and updates for changes to flight schedules
