Position Overview:
As a Dishwasher at Stereo 41, you play a crucial role in maintaining the backbone of the kitchen — cleanliness, organization, and readiness. You’ll be responsible for maintaining the dish station, supporting kitchen sanitation, assisting with prep, and ensuring the overall kitchen environment meets our high standards of cleanliness and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain a clean and organized dish station at all times

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using proper sanitation methods

• Ensure all dishes and kitchen equipment are cleaned, polished, and ready for use

• Clean and sanitize kitchen areas as directed by management

• Assist with basic kitchen prep tasks as needed

• Take out trash and maintain overall cleanliness of the back-of-house areas

• Follow all health and safety protocols set by the kitchen and health department

• Support the kitchen team with various cleaning and organizational duties

Qualifications:

• No prior experience required, but kitchen or dishwashing experience is a plus

• Must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

• Must be detail-oriented, reliable, and a team player

• Ability to take direction and stay productive during all shifts

• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays

• Willingness to assist with kitchen prep and other duties as assigned
