About the Role
The Dishwasher supports the Resort Chef by managing all dishwashing and sanitization processes, keeping the kitchen clean and organized, and assisting with basic food preparation. The role ensures high sanitary standards while helping maintain an efficient, safe, and well-run kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities
· Manage dishwashing and sanitation machine operations.
· Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, dry storage, fridges, and freezers.
· Assist with food prep for the Resort Chef and culinary team.
· Keep all kitchen areas tidy, safe, and hazard-free.
· Sweep and mop as scheduled or needed.
· Package cookies, snacks, and items for to-go lunches.
· Communicate supply needs promptly to the Resort Chef.
· Put away deliveries, break down/store boxes neatly.
· Assist with line cooking when required.
· Stock and clean the staff kitchen and support staff meals.
Qualifications
Required
· Legally entitled to work in Canada
· Food Safe Level 1
· WHMIS certification
· Ability to work independently
· Good prioritization and time-management skills
· Ability to work quickly without compromising quality
Preferred
· OFA1 (Occupational First Aid Level 1)
