Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
- Manage the daily operations of the housing division with a team of Assistant Directors, House Leads and Direct Support Professionals.
- Building and maintaining a positive relationship with Consumers, their Families and County and State Support Teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree, with 5-7 years work experience in a leadership role
- Master's Degree or above preferred
- Experience in Special Education and/or DD field, preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- At least five (5) years management experience
- Ability to think critically and creatively
- Ability to take initiative and follow through on tasks
- Possess and maintain First Aid and CPR training (or willing to obtain)
- Pass and maintain all required Department of Developmental Disabilities (DODD) training offerings
- Pass a background check
- Pass a drug test
- Possess and maintain a driving record with less than six (6) points
